Terms
Last updated August 21, 2026
These are the terms for using TripPact at trippact.app. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.
What this does
TripPact lets an operator record a job, offer it to a driver, follow the trip, and keep what was agreed and what was claimed. That record is the product.
What this does not do
This matters more than the last section, so it is stated plainly.
It does not move money. TripPact records that an operator says a driver was paid. It does not hold funds, transfer them, or verify that any payment happened.
It does not employ or supply drivers. Every arrangement is between an operator and a driver directly. We are not a party to it, not an employer, not an agent, and not a broker.
It does not check anyone. We do not verify licences, insurance, vehicle condition, background, or the right to work. An operator is responsible for who they hire.
It does not verify what is entered. Addresses, rates, mileage and times are what people typed. The app keeps them faithfully; it does not know whether they are true.
Your account
Sign-in is by mobile number. Keep access to that number — anyone who has it can reach the account.
One person may operate one or more businesses. Do not share an account between businesses whose records should stay separate.
What you are responsible for as an operator
You enter other people's details — drivers and passengers who have no account and, in the case of passengers, no idea this exists.
You confirm that you have a legitimate business reason for holding those details, that you are entitled to enter them here, and that you will tell those people if they ask who has their information.
Only enter what a job needs. There is no field that requires a passenger's date of birth, payment details or anything else sensitive, and none should be typed into a notes box.
Invite links
An invite link is a credential. Anyone holding it can see the job and accept it. Send it to the driver you mean to send it to.
Links expire. If one is sent to the wrong person, take the driver off the job — that stops the link working.
The record is append-only
What happened stays. Editing a job records that it was edited; taking a driver off records that too; a disputed claim and its revision both remain. This is deliberate — a record that can be quietly rewritten settles nothing.
Deleting a job removes it permanently, including its history. There is no undo.
Availability and cost
TripPact is free while it is being built. If that changes, account holders will be told well before any charge, and nobody will be billed without agreeing first.
It is provided as it is. There is no uptime guarantee, and it should not be the only place a job exists if that job matters.
Acceptable use
Do not use it to harass anyone, to enter details you have no right to, to attempt access to another operator's records, or to interfere with the service.
Accounts doing any of that can be closed without notice.
Ending it
Close your account whenever you like by emailing tyler@trippact.app. Ask and the data goes with it.
We may close an account for the reasons above, or if the service is discontinued — in which case there will be reasonable notice and a way to take the records out first.
Liability
TripPact is provided without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Because this product does not move money, employ drivers or verify anything, it is not responsible for disputes between an operator and a driver, for a driver who does not arrive, for a payment not made, or for any loss arising from a job arranged through it.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you have paid to use the service — which, while it is free, is nothing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, and any dispute belongs in the courts there.
